IMPROVING ITALY’S APPEAL FOR ERC GRANT WINNERS
On March 21st 2022 the Italian winners of European research grants met online to discuss improving Italy’s appeal as a research hub, moderated by Prof. Luca Biferale. The group is working on a document regarding “Best Practices for Attracting Young and Senior Scientists to Italy“, which will be presented to the Italian Ministry for Research and Higher Education. The objective is to increase the number of Italian winners of European research grants in the coming years. Other meetings have been held in April/May: draft document will come asap.
