Italy has demonstrated to be able to shape scientists of the highest reputation. Nevertheless, we suffer an outflow of ERC awardees; the reasons for this need looking into. ERC in Italy is the opportunity for us to cultivate and preserve a fruitful environment to carry out Research in our Country.
